Ian
Marshall no longer believes in fairy tales…
Disowned and a marked criminal in the United States, this merchant turned bounty hunter, is one bounty away from freedom; and freedom’s price is handing over one person to the most cutthroat gang in the world, The Cursed. Yet, he can’t get to them without Sorella’s help. Too bad she’s gorgeous, aggravating, and a little trigger happy.

As
the attraction mounts, the danger grows and the pair find themselves invading a
skin trader den, the ballrooms of dictator-ruled Germany, and fighting battles
in the sky in the hopes of getting everything they want. Only thing they didn’t
plan on… falling in love.
Author Interview:
Tell
us about your newest release.
Let’s avoid regular blurb stuff, that’s included
below. I’ll fly off the cuff instead. Raven is about a woman, Sorella Corvino
who seeks to find her brother. He was traded to mercenaries in exchange for her
own life when she was younger. My heroine gets tangled up with a bounty hunter,
Ian, who knows where the mercenaries, The Cursed, hangout. For transportation
on her sky ship he’ll take her to them. Only there’s some issues in getting
there. This is alternate history romance set in the 1930’s and the book visits
New Orleans, Germany, and some other areas of Europe.
Who is your favorite hero of
fiction?
Why… Mr. Darcy, of course. He’s
the romantic hero of romantic heroes. I fell in love at first read. I’m also a
huge sucker for Batman/Brue Wayne. We have a hot and debatable relationship.
With whom, living or dead and why, would you like to sit and chat with
for an afternoon?
My grandmother. I miss her and the advice she’d give. I’d
love to just talk about life, my choices, my career, and get her thoughts.
What is your greatest fear?
Zombies/Zombie Apocalypse. I’m not a prepper
by any means, but I live in fear of the day something like this occurs. It may
never happen, and if it does I hope I’m long gone. I don’t want The Walking
Dead for this very reason.
What is your favorite quotation?
“Whatever it takes” – unknown. I believe
in doing whatever it takes to a get a job done. Late nights, early mornings,
pushing myself to my limits, and even doing things that I’ve never done before.
I’ve learned a ton of new skills by going to extra mile to accomplish my job,
any job. By taking leaps and risks I believe it opens me up to even more
possibilities. We are the sum of our life experiences.
What
authors or friends influenced you in helping you become a writer?
I’ve many
friends/authors that have influenced me. But one permanent supporting voice is
my husband’s. He’s supported my goal to write since we met, that’s over 15
years of support. I couldn’t do this without him.
What
does your family/friends think about your career as a published author?
Besides
writing, what other interests do you have?
Well, I love to read. Outside of
that I enjoy cooking, home projects, hiking, and family adventures. Family
adventures are probably my favorite and we try to experience new things every
year, some of these things can be as simple as learning a new game. We like
variety.
What is your ‘Writing Routine’, if any?
Every day I write. My writing
routine involves setting a word count weekly goal and doing a little bit of
work on that goal every day. So far it’s proved effective on the last four
books I’ve worked on. It’s also shown me that I can make personal deadlines and
stick to them.
How
can readers connect with you online?
Readers can find me all over the place.
The best places to find me are: Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, Website, Silken Sheets & Seduction, or Newsletter
Can
you tell us what is coming up next for you?
Up next is another Fairytale. It’s
a Sleep Beauty re-telling with Zombies. Yes, I wrote about my worst fear and it
was a serious challenge. I don’t have a release date yet, but if you sign up
for my newsletter or swing by my site periodically there will be more
information available.
