Tears of Darkness
In the darkness of night she wondered how she had ever
fallen so far from grace. There were no stars dancing across the onyx sky
playfully; the alabaster moon was ashamed to light her way and hid behind the bashful
marshmallow clouds as they reflected the dull city lights.
The only signs of God were the tears He had shed and left
to dry upon her heart, every single solitary drop seared into her soul.
A midnight tear bid adieu to a love so light in
darkness when the fall of the morning moon welcomed her fiery radiance anew.
God did love her.

OMG! This was intense, and I love your usage of words, bringing the story to life. My heart ached for this fallen one but knew she was loved even in the darkest of moments. Beautiful tale.
