The tumblers of the lock fell into place as he twisted the key.  He opened the cellar door and the light knifed, inched slowly, bathing her face. She was ready; prepared in the dress he wanted her to wear: crinoline and lace, satin straps and ribbons but no underwear......no panties, still.

How long would she have to endure, to pretend.......to want him? How long had she been here, been stolen from her life, her home and family?

"Yes, Master..............."

How long would she have to welcome his twisted affections in the darkness?

Oh, God.......hear me, find me or let me die……………….....………

  1. *brr* Another chilling and terrifying one, Muffy! I can definitely see the coldness and desperation of this picture though and how it appeared that way. I used the coldness, myself. I hope she finds a way out!

  2. Wow, that was deep. The fact that she’d rather die than endore the torture of being his bounded bride had me like damn. I felt her pain and terror. Good work!

  11. Oh Muffy, this post reminds me of an episode of NCIS. Some nut case was kidnapping women, putting wedding dresses on them and then locking them up in a dungeon - until he got tired of them. Wow, I love your twist on this week's picture. You have taken the tortured look on her face and turned it into a story, in only 100 words. You rock.

  18. Beautiful and haunting work. I am amazed at how each of us saw something different yet some of us saw the same. Guess it is our perspectives on life that color what we see.

    Great story, and scary.

I was born when we kissed; I died when we parted. I lived in your embrace while we loved..........
