Immortal Hearts

I buried my face in your chest and felt your heartbeat against each of my tears. Whatever took you, had returned you to me—to hold in my arms. I cried for my happiness, no longer angry, but perplexed. I trusted that you would tell me, in time and in good faith, the story of your presumed death. I thanked God for your life and for my life too now restored with a heart beating full of hope and promise.

You comforted me until the aroma of your aftershave seduced me with a mounting desire. It had been a long time since I felt your touch, your strong arms around me, your heated palms on my back. Your breath may as well have been molten lava as I felt you exhale into my neck and it crawled down my cleavage. How was it that so hot a sensation could leave a trail of gooseflesh in its wake? Ah, the magic of passion; something that did not require explanation, just acceptance. It was the power and the rhythm of the Universe.

I accepted my good fortune and melted into your body.

My God, how I missed you.

I can breathe again.

It is raining here as I write this and rain brings thought of sorrow and loss to my mind.So please read my offering today. And the Sky Wept

It is a fine day to stay inside and make love, eat grapes, listen to Johnny Mathis, laugh, and drown out the day’s violent awakening with the music of our beating hearts. I wake slowly and as I roll to face you, to swim in your gaze, the heavy fog in my head begins to lift and I realize that you are not here. In an instant, the comfort and security of two hearts beating as one was lost—forever.

I rise to stand at the window anxiously, with only my reflection for solace. The storm shrouds everything in black and grey. I feel lost, alone in this sea of darkness. You were snapped out of my life as if some payment to God was long overdue. My heart breaks for the thousandth time and I finally begin to weep.

I can’t bear another moment. The rain intensifies outside and I cry shamelessly for my loss hoping the tears will give me comfort. They do not. I cannot call you back into my arms, nor can I drown the empty longing with my tears.

And this is how the second day of my life without you began—dark, ominous, and foreboding—alone.

Miss Pepperham's Obsession

No one wants to die that way, but then he had left her little choice. He flaunted his infidelity, his disloyalty, his insatiable appetites—in short, he felt he had her exactly where he wanted her.

But, he was wrong. She had finally had enough and what drove her to the edge was not hate, jealously or greed but disgust.

His gluttony for life with no restraint meant he had no regard for anyone or anything in his life if it stood between him and what he wanted—whatever that might be.

So…she gave him the one thing he thought he could never have—immortality.

Only she referred to it as—everlasting life. Now, they were both happy.

After she shot him, she rolled him up in the kitchenette throw rug, dragged him through the garden room, out the French doors and into the garden by the new koi pond under construction. She dug his length eighteen inches deeper, which took most of the rest of the night while Chicklet, his white Bichon, mewed incessantly. She rolled him over and unceremoniously plunked him into the hole then covered him with dirt—liner ready.

It was her turn.

Sigh.............

The Abyss of Summer Love

The summer was hot that year, my sixteenth: the year of summer love, secret kisses, furtive meetings. My body was in a constant state of hunger and I was anxious, eager for something—anything—to relieve the gnawing insistence I felt from within.

I was in a constant state of awareness. I felt the soft searing breeze cool the trails of heat it produced which left a heightened sensation of electricity on my flesh. My nipples yawned hard and erect against my clothes ready for the touch of love.

It was not our first date, that hot first summer, when I opened my heart and my body to his young, trembling touch. It was with an eager abandon leaving me fragile, quivering and anxiously wet that I reached for him.

He was patient and wondrously hard, as he lovingly brushed an errant curl from my upturned face, my expectant eyes wide. Unaware, I floated into the embrace of his blue gaze and in a suspended single motion; I settled my young body on his outstretched cock.

I nearly exploded as he slid into me.

Filling me with his heat, I watched our bodies disappear into the abyss of summer love.
