He did not know the bar he went into the night before was
a gay bar—one of the most famous gay bars in Palm Springs—but it was.
He did not know he would drink too much, but he did—way,
way too much.
He did not know he could have so much fun with a bunch of
men that did not involve football—but he did.
He did not know he would wake up in another man’s bed
with him in it—but he did.
He could never have known how much he enjoyed himself—but he did—a
lot.
