Bird of Paradise
That moment, a single moment in time I wanted to freeze, in every frame. She came out of the bathroom morning beautiful, wearing my shirt which looked like wings. She sprung, laughing playfully from the door, flew-elevated, suspended in time by my desire. Every movement, every breath of her was frozen in a frame that I would remember for the rest of my life.

She smiled at me lovingly as I memorized her every movement. I carved her into my heart, every single solitary image of her soaring into my soul.

God, I did love her.

I never saw the knife.
