Flash Fiction Friday seems inviting in every way, including this wonderful subject photograph below that is the focus challenge for all the participating authors. Our goal? To write a 100 word short, no more and no less, that captures the essence of the photo to us. They are always so different and so inspired. But today, I am into Gypsies.
Such a wonderful group of prurient panderers. You'll love us, but you need to visit, comment and enjoy each author's work. You can hop over to the list via the link above or below or you you can stay right here, listen to some great music and visit their blogs one-by-one because I have them listed below, too.
Either way, you'll enjoy ~ ☼ღஜ レo√乇 ¸.☆¨¯`*.✿.*˜"*°

Gypsy* Magic |
The clustered houseboats along the bank of the slow,
meandering river bustled with activity from the nomads as they prepared for the Summer
Solstice.
Behind the shoulders of the exotic dancer, the sky was draped
in sequined velveteen on the dock amidst colored lanterns. She watched as the
music brought his hips to life. Her heart pounded in rhythmic cadence with his seductive movement.
He knew she hid and watched - always.
Tonight, the woman she had become did not hide but walked
boldly to the dock. She melted into his embrace and danced, finally, pressed
tightly against the magical bulge between his thighs.

*The English term Gypsy (or Gipsy) originates from the Greek word for "Egyptian", Αιγύπτιοι (Aigyptioi, whence modern Greek γύφτοι gifti), in the belief that the Romanies, or some other Gypsy groups (such as the Balkan Egyptians), originated in Egypt, and in one narrative were exiled as punishment for allegedly harbouring the infant Jesus. This exonym is sometimes written with capital letter, to show that it designates an ethnic group.
