Wyat stepped out of the shower and snagged an old towel, pulling the rusty hook and a piece of plaster along with it. He made a mental note on his to-do list, then he tossed the hook and rubbed himself down. The friction of stiff, scratchy fabric on flesh set off sparks that made him throw back his head and howl.

The sun hadn’t even set, but already he felt the tug of a full moon. A shifter could no more deny the lunar pull than he could stop breathing. Once every month, Wyat’s lupine pheromones took over and all he could think about was getting his rocks off. In a few hours, he’d be ready to stick his dick into anything that moved. Well, maybe not anything. Wyat didn’t do pussy.

Funny how things turn out. The pack never envisioned a gay man as their alpha, but fate had other plans. She interrupted him. “Hold me, Gage. Just hold me. We could have died back there. My God, what would have happened to my mother?”

There were times to think and times not to think. Like now. Gage shut his eyes and held her. For a minute, he pretended Keven was safe. They were safe. That everything was normal. He inhaled Lainey’s scent, the feel of her breasts beneath her jacket. His hand traced the curve of her hip, the swell of her tight, round ass. Sweet Carolina, she felt good.

“Gage?”

“Mmm-hmm?”

She dropped her arms, took his head between her hands and brought his face forward until his lips were within grazing distance of her own. “I . . . want . . . you.” Each word was a puff of heat sliding out from her lips into his.

His body responded in the most elemental way. He wanted her. Bad. He wanted to make this respite from danger last just a little bit longer. But that was his dick talking, and the last time he’d listened, he’d gotten his rocks burned, not off. He inched back and put some space between them. “You’re in shock, Lainey. His mouth was on fire. “You don’t know what you’re saying.”

“I do, Gage. This time, I do. Make love to me.” Her eyes were a rich, dark chocolate, heavy-lidded with passion. “I need to forget everything for a little while. Celebrate being alive.” Her arms went under his shirt. “No strings. No ulterior motives. Just two people taking comfort from each other.” Her jacket sleeve was slippery cold against his skin, but her fingers were hot as they grazed his belly, his nipples. He shivered.

He was standing in a cold cave with a warm woman crawling all over him. Wanting him. His need was great, his body was primed, the woman was ready and willing. So why couldn’t he pretend it was just about sex?

While trying to gather my senses, one of the bags slides from my arms and crashes against the concrete, causing both bottles of wine to shatter, and the dark liquid to spread into a puddle.

“Shit! Real smooth, Izzie.” Bending down to collect the glass, my face flushes with embarrassment. The stranger crouches next to me, his long legs folding in a way I wouldn’t have thought possible for such a tall man. On our knees, gathering glass, we’re the same height.

“Careful.” His voice is warm and thick, laced with a Northern accent. Somehow he makes the simple word sound like music.

Author Interview

Is there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp? 

In Fading Memories the message is that one can recover from grief, and a broken heart. This can be a struggle for some people, and I hope that they can take away a portion of this book and enter it into their lives. Our hearts will be broken, and in time they can me mended. It only takes that one person to bring you back from the darkness.

What are your current projects?

 I’m currently finishing up a new series called A Taste of Love, the first book that will release late November early December is Frosted Sweets then I’m back to finishing up Seth’s story from The Chances Series.

Do you see writing as a career?

 I just left my full-time job over the summer to focus on my writing career more. The hope is that I can continue to build relationships with readers, and bloggers as I write, write, write.

If you could say anything to your readers what would it be?

 Thank you. The support that I receive from them is amazing and if it wasn’t for them, I would never have continued down this path.

Do you prefer to write alone or do you like to collaborate with other authors?

 Currently I have only written alone, but I do hope to collaborate with other authors soon. I would love to see how this process works.

When you are reading a book, who is your favorite author?

 Colleen Hoover

Do you come up with the cover or does someone else do it?

 Oh my … Covers have always been a fun aspect of writing for me, as they have just happened with ease. Fading Memories was the hardest cover to design. I had a vision of this one years ago, then as the story changed the vision changed. I was lucky that a friend helped me find the perfect image and the designer was able to portray what I wanted.

What book if any would you want to be made into a movie?

 Oh this one is hard. I would have to say either the Chances Series or Fading Memories.

Everyone uses computers, tablets, phones and no one uses handwritten form or typewriters, what do you prefer to use? I write notes and build the storyline in an old fashioned spiral notebook, when out and about I will write notes on my phone. Then I transfer them all into Word, I only write the story on the laptop and then save save save.

Is there a ritual you do everything before you begin your book?

 I have to make sure my music is ready, I either have a huge cup of coffee or drink. Slather my lips with Chap-stick and the type away. Oh and I have to have Twizzlers.

What do you do when you finish your book and turn it in to the editor?

 I will read it over, send to betas, make corrections and then close my eyes as I send to my editor. I’m always worried that everyone will hate what I wrote, and freak out until I hear back.

A.M. Willard is a true believer of soul mates, and happy ever afters. She enjoys reading, sailing, and of course writing contemporary romance with some saucy scenes. Releasing her first novella of the One Night Series on April 12, 2014 has sent her on a new journey in life. A.M.’s passion for writing started at a young age, but with the love and support from her husband of eighteen years pushed her to follow her dreams. Chapter One

As soon as the front door closed I was out of my chair and watching from the window as my girlfriend walked down the path, heading for work.

Once I saw her reach the end of the road and get in her friend's car–the same friend always picked her up–I made sure the doors were locked and headed up to the newly converted attic. Originally, I had it modified so I could work in peace away from Sally and her friends, who always seemed to be around the front room, talking about girly things like make-up, lingerie, and which film or television star they would fuck.

Even though I knew that Sally would never cheat on me, and she was only having a laugh with her friends, it wasn't what I wanted to hear, what my girlfriend would do with this star or that star in intimate detail, so when I told her my plans for the attic she agreed it would be a good idea. In only a matter of weeks it had been completed. Once it was done, I moved all my computer equipment up there, kitted it out like a home office, and even put a sofa bed in there in case I worked too late. I was a digital artist and web designer and when an idea gripped me I rarely wanted to leave it, even to sleep.

That was when I found out that I liked to do more than design websites or draw fantasy figures. Being alone had given me all the peace and free time I had wanted, yet, niggling at the back of my mind, I found myself thinking more and more about what Sally and her friends talked about, especially the lingerie. The way they used to describe the different feeling of different materials against their naked bodies, the items and colors of lingerie they would wear, what they wore for what occasion, what each different piece made them feel like; it all used to have me getting aroused more and more often.

J.S. Morbius is the pseudonym of an engaged father to nine children, four of his own and five stepchildren. He is also partially disabled, having been born with a neurological condition that has caused his nervous system to deteriorate over the years and finds writing to be the way to express his feelings, and fantasies.

Having been writing for less than five years, Star Search, published by Naughty Nights Press in November 2011, was his first release.

His second stand-alone release, Addicted to Charlie, came out in June 2012, quickly followed by Naughty Hot Shots - Reunited at a Reunion, which earned him his first ever bestseller certificate from his publisher, NNP, and then shortly after that his next Transgender release, Naughty Hot Shots - Top Of The Class, which earned him yet another silver star at All Romance Ebooks on the very first day.

J.S. has several stories, both gay male and transgender, currently on the editing table of his publisher that he hopes will be out to his fans shortly. A recent surgery to assist him in his mobility has added to the unfortunate delayed releases, but now that J.S. is on the mend he has jumped back into the wonderfully busy process of working with his editor to cultivate his upcoming works.

J.S. now considers writing to be his main occupation, and continues to write, mainly in gay male, transgender and cross dressing genres.
